Aquarela Stays in the organization of COP30

The 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) is a historic milestone for Brazil, attracting unprecedented demand for accommodations in Belém and placing the city's accommodation capacity in the global spotlight. Aware that the local hotel inventory would not be able to accommodate the event's entire audience, and of the risks that an unprofessional seasonal rental offering could pose to the country's image, the Federal Government took action.

To ensure excellence, safety, and a positive experience for participants, the Extraordinary Secretariat for COP30 (SECOP), linked to the Presidency of the Republic, selected Aquarela Stays to qualify and act as the technical intermediary for the event's short-term accommodation management.

We are a key part of the COP30 organizational structure, ensuring that short-term rentals are well managed, leaving a positive legacy of management and best practices for major international events.
